The Ramstein Bazaar is a spectacular four-day shopping event featuring treasures from all over the world. It takes nearly 500 volunteers to make this community event a success. Volunteers have a lot of fun and there is something for everyone. Would you like to help? Volunteer sign-ups begin Monday. To volunteer, go to www.ramsteinbazaar.org and click on the “Ways to Help” tab to see the different areas available to volunteer for and click on the “Volunteer” button for the specific shifts.
You can choose from a variety of areas to volunteer for, including setup, hangar team, hospitality and more. Descriptions for each time slot are detailed on the sign-up pages. Volunteers are needed from Sept. 14 through Sept. 18. If you are not available to work a four-hour shift, there are opportunities to make donations of baked goods or fresh fruit.
The only thing better than volunteering is volunteering with your friends. Do you have a group of seven or more people that want to volunteer together? If so, contact the volunteer coordinators at staffing@ramsteinbazaar.org for assistance.
All volunteers who sign up to work at least one four-hour shift will receive an invitation to attend “Red Carpet Shopping,” an exclusive event that takes place from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 14. The bazaar grounds will open to the public at 10 a.m. Sept. 15.
Proceeds from the Bazaar are distributed to the KMC through the Ramstein Officers’ Spouses Club Welfare Fund. Last year, more than $250,000 went back to the KMC. The Ramstein Bazaar is an 86th Force Support Squadron event that is produced by the Ramstein Officers’ Spouses Club. The 52nd Ramstein Bazaar will be held Sept. 15 through 18 on the Ramstein flight line in hangars 1 and 2 and the giant tent.
Volunteer for your community at the Ramstein Bazaar this September!
