***image1***Air Force Services Family Member Programs is excited to sponsor the AF Space Camp Program at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, in Huntsville, Ala. Forty-eight scholarships are available for youth, ages 12 to 18, to participate. Space Academy will be from July 27 to Aug. 1 and the Advanced Space Academy will be from July 25 to Aug. 1.
This program is open to family members of active duty military assigned to or living on an AF installation, AF retired military, AF civilian employees or activated Air National Guard or AF reserve. Travel costs to Huntsville, Ala., are the responsibility of the attendees or the installation’s youth programs, but all lodging, meals and activity fees after arrival at Space Camp will be available at no cost to attendees or their installation. Attendees participate in a wide variety of physical activity, hands-on experiences, and classroom activities. Interested youth with a minimum GPA of 2.8 must complete the electronic fill-in application form at www.afyouthprograms.com and submit to their installation’s youth programs by May 16.
