CMSAF Paul Airey Ruck/March/Run

CMSAF Paul Airey Ruck/March/Run will take place June 1, 8:30 a.m. at the Southside Fitness Center on Ramstein AB. Pre-registration is May 26.

The goal of this event is three pronged.

One: Honor our first CMSAF and his legacy as he bravely carried out his mission here in Germany, while assigned as a Radio Operator.

Two: Increase education and awareness of the sacrifices, hardship and determination madeby CMSAF Paul Airey and his fellow enlisted and officer POWs during one of the most pivotal points in world history.

Three: Build camaraderie and promote health and welfare while raising funds to donate to the Enlisted Village in honor of CMSAF Paul Airey.

Soccer players needed

The FV Olympia Ramstein Soccer Club is looking for male and female players born in 2003/2004.  Practice takes place 5:30 to 7 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday on the artificial turf pitch at Am Hocht 1 in Ramstein village. KMC Ambassadors

KMC Ambassadors is looking for a few good coaches. The KMC Ambassadors is a baseball/softball club that supports the entire Kaiserslautern Military Community with fall developmental baseball/softball training for kids ages 8 to 18 and in-season travel team opportunities across Europe for kids ages 10 to 16. If you have experience playing or coaching baseball and/or softball at a high level and want to help to shape the youth of our community into competitive ball players, then we are the program for you. Soccer for girls

The Kottweiler-Schwanden Sports Club is looking for girls born in the years 2005 up to 2008 for its youngest girls’ soccer team. The sports club has three girls’ teams and two women’s teams. They are also looking for new players. This is the opportunity to get involved in a German soccer club playing with German and American girls. Coaches are all able to speak English. Start Smart Soccer

Youth Sports will be offering Start Smart Soccer for children ages 3 & 4 during the fall sports season. Start Smart is not a team sport. Start Smart is parent-child interactive program, led by a CYS staff member. Registration is open from June 1 to July 13. Disc Golf at Pulaski Park

Get your game on. Outdoor Recreation offers Disc Golf at Pulaski Park. Grab a team, pick up a Frisbee and take advantage of this interactive flying disc game that requires precision and accuracy. The brand new Disc Golf course at Pulaski Park is open for public use. Frisbees may be rented from Outdoor Recreation, or you may bring your own.
