USAG Rheinland-Pfalz 2018 Unit Level Basketball Championships
The 2018 Unit Level Basketball Championships are scheduled for Monday to Thursday. The top six teams from regular season league play will compete in the championship. The 1st and 2nd place teams from this championship will then advance to the IMCOM-Europe Tournament. Games will be held at Kleber Fitness Center, Kleber Kaserne, Bldg. 3235 from 6 to 9 p.m. Final championship game is Thursday at 6 p.m. Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, along with 1st and 2nd individual and MVP. Soccer players needed
The FV Olympia Ramstein Soccer Club is looking for male and female players born in 2003/2004. Practice takes place 5:30 to 7 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday on the artificial turf pitch at Am Hocht 1 in Ramstein village. IMCOM-E 2018 Unit Level
Basketball Championships
The 2018 IMCOM-E Unit Level Basketball Championships are scheduled for Mar. 2 to 4. Mandatory coaches meeting will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Mar. 2 at the Kleber Fitness Center. ID card check to be held immediately after, from 9:45 to 10 a.m. Opening ceremony will then begin at 10 a.m. Mar. 2 games will start at noon. Mar. 3 and 4 games will start at 8 a.m. Each garrison is authorized two teams if six or more teams participated in the Garrison Unit Level League. Only active duty Soldiers assigned or attached to their unit by official order may take part in the IMCOM-E Unit Level Basketball Championships. Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, along with 1st and 2nd individual and MVP. Come support the Rheinland-Pfalz Unit Level Champions. No entry fee. Soccer for girls
The Kottweiler-Schwanden Sports Club is looking for girls born in the years 2005 up to 2008 for its youngest girls’ soccer team. The sports club has three girls’ teams and two women’s teams. They are also looking for new players. This is the opportunity to get involved in a German soccer club playing with German and American girls. Coaches are all able to speak English.
