GRAFENWOEHR, Germany — An enthusiastic gathering of leaders, fellow Soldiers and event cadre honored the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s 2015 “Best Warriors” during a ceremony May 14 at the Grafenwoehr Physical Fitness Center.
Soldiers from the 212th Combat Support Hospital, 30th Medical Brigade, 21st Theater Sustainment Command, conducted a wide range of medical operations in a field environment April 13 through 21, during a live exercise, LIVEX, at Miesau Army Depot.
Allied logisticians off-loaded more than 100 pieces of military equipment, including M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tanks, M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles and assorted military cargo from the vessel “Liberty Promise” March 9 at the Riga Universal Terminal docks in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve.
Leaders and professionals throughout the KMC, including those in the medical, chaplain, military and quality assurance fields, participated in a weeklong resiliency forum March 9 to 14 on Vogelweh Military Complex.

Hans Erich Antoni, Bundeswehr Logistics Command commander, signed a Memorandum of Agreement March 5 at Panzer Kaserne. This event marked the first formal renewal of the U.S.-German military logistics partnership in almost 20 years.

When most people think of jobs in the Army, they don’t realize the multitude of opportunities available to recruits looking to join. One 21st Theater Sustainment Command sergeant major, however, found instant harmony when he enlisted into the Army nearly 28 years ago.
Soldiers from the 21st Theater Sustainment Command’s 240th Quartermaster Company, 18th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade hosted a professional development session for officers and senior noncommissioned officers from the Air Force’s 86th Logistics Readiness Group Feb. 27 at Smith Barracks in Baumholder.
The Modern Army Combatives Program has seen multiple revisions in the past several months. The program went from a four-stage training curriculum with Combatives Levels 1-4, to a three stage with Basic Combatives Course, Tactical Combatives Course and Combatives Master Trainer Course.
