Recently, a U.S. citizen assigned to Ramstein traveled to the U.K. (a non-Schengen country. See below for a list of Schengen countries) and was denied re-entry to Germany because his U.S. passport expired in less than three months.

The Jawbone Flight Kitchen, which services approximately 3,000 service members per month, is competing for the John L. Hennessy Award. In order to win in a category, the group competing must show excellence in food service management, readiness, quality in food, customer service, resource conservation, safety, and training.
