Commander visits GSU, meets with Airmen
Since taking command on June 10th, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many of the great Airmen from the 86th Airlift Wing. It is a privilege to serve with you, the men and women who provide combat airlift and operate the Air Force’s premier installation to enable and assure strategic capabilities.

I expect our Airmen to hold the Air Force standard and to be professional both on duty and off duty. When you put on the uniform, there’s a certain trust I think the American people give us, and there’s a certain expectation with that.
I have been to the KMCC twice in the last two weeks and have parked out front from the main entrance. While walking into the center, I look around, and I must say, I am very embarrassed at the amount of trash I see on the ground.
Airmen of the 86th Airlift Wing welcomed a new commander during the change of command ceremony Monday on Ramstein.
With 12 chaplains in the 86th AW, there are a variety of religions being represented, which enables them to take care of an individual’s specific spiritual needs. Even if someone isn’t religious, they can still talk to a chaplain.
