Outdated, stale and boring. Those are just a few of the words customers used to describe their bowling alley. Their old bowling alley, that is.
From the first time people open their eyes they are always learning. Growing up, parents, teachers, coaches and many other people have stressed the importance of education, but in some circumstances, such as being an Airman, people need to be educated on how to get an education.
Raising community morale year-round is spearheaded by the 86th Force Support Squadron with activities and events including the Rockin’ 4th of July, NCAA basketball games, organizing USO events and awarding prizes to the community.
Today’s culture of financial responsibility has every Airman searching for ways to save the Air Force money. Though Airmen today are extremely resourceful at finding ways to keep Uncle Sam from hitting the unemployment line, the dollars bleeding out of their pockets is just as important. Fortunately, the 86th Force Support Squadron has a program to do just that.
