The 86th Medical Group’s Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight recently released Ramstein’s Annual Drinking Water Quality Report. This report, which is required by Air Force Instruction and mirrors the Consumer Confidence Report required by the Environmental Protection Agency Continental United States, is designed to inform people about the excellent water and services that were delivered over the past year.
The 86th Medical Group is now offering enrollment for TRICARE Plus eligible beneficiaries. TRICARE Plus is a program that allows beneficiaries who normally are only eligible to get care at a military treatment facility on a space-available basis to enroll at the MTF for primary care services and the appointed primary care manager.
The Air Force recently named an 86th Medical Group Airman the 2014 Public Health Airman of the Year.

Gen. Philip M. Breedlove, commander of Supreme Allied Command Europe and U.S. European Command, honored a member of the KMC — someone who at one time was a Soldier, Airman and civil servant — by officiating his retirement Dec. 12 on Ramstein.
John Mace retired after 54 total years of service to the U.S. military with more than 100 family members, friends and military leaders present. Also, in attendance was Gen. Mark A. Welsh, U.S. Air Force chief of staff.
