Staff Sgt. Danika Fulham, 86th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron medical technician, administers a bag-valve mask to assist the breathing on a smart dummy during readiness skills verification training April 12 on Ramstein. The 86th AES is an aeromedical evacuation squadron that provides timely, efficient movement of patients and en route care. This type of evacuation has been used extensively throughout all major wars since World War II and saved countless lives.

Members of the 86th Medical Group brief Serbian military members on what the Deployment Transition Center 
has to offer returning personnel during a visit to Ramstein March 26. The 86th MDG mental health flight and Landstuhl Regional Medical Center’s Warrior Transition Unit were requested by U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa’s surgeon general to train the Serbians because of their experienced personnel.
