Children collect eggs during last year’s Easter egg hunt at Baumholder’s Iron Soldier Park. This year’s Easter celebration will be on the field next to Wetzel Elementary School (west side) and is combined with a “kinderfest,” or children’s festival, that will offer numerous activities for the children.
This year as Child, Youth and Schools Services presents “A Day at the Movies,” a movie themed “kinderfest,” or children’s festival, for the entire U.S. Army Garrison Baumholder community, being held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 30.
The Baumholder Hilltop Theater’s production of “God of Carnage,” a smart, dark-edged comedy, explores the boundaries of civilized behavior and then tramples right over them in this hilarious play by Yasmina Reza and translated by Christopher Hampton.
Baumholder’s Army Emergency Relief fundraising campaign was launched March 4 during a breakfast gathering at the Heart of the Rock Dining Facility on Smith Barracks.
Culinary students from around Europe came to Baumholder American High School to compete in the second European Culinary Arts Fair Feb. 13 and 14.
