During a four-day weekend in Europe, service members have many options on how to spend their leisure time. Some choose to travel, some choose to visit local historic sites and some choose to stay at home and relax. For some members of the KMC, a four-day weekend meant an afternoon of science.

Sascha, daughter of Staff Sgt. Ashley Cross-White, enjoys some breakfast provided by the Child Development Center Jan. 10 on Vogelweh. The Vogelweh CDC can have approximately 448 children in attendance ranging anywhere from 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Vogelweh CDC reopens

After more than two years of renovations, the Vogelweh Child Development Center has had upgrading to its carpeting, flooring, wall panels, fire-suppression system and more, creating a better quality of life for the children at their home away from home.
