Whether it is donating supplies or time, volunteering with various organizations is a way to help those in need. One NCO recently enlisted the help of his Soldiers and their families to help a local nonprofit organization.
The Fisher House Foundation has stepped in to aid the Defense Department so families of fallen service members can receive the full set of benefits they have been promised, Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said here today.
