News for the Ramstein, Kaiserslautern, Landstuhl & Baumholder military communities in Germany On Sept. 27, the Kaisers-lautern Kingfish swim team hosted four other teams from across Europe at the Ramstein Aquatic Center. The Kingfish once again swam away with the victory, beating the Wiesbaden Wahoos, Lisbon Bullsharks and Lakenheath Barracudas 1257-792-154-141.
Everyone knows how important teamwork is in baseball. What many don’t realize is that it’s important in an individual sport such as swimming, too. The Kaiserslautern Kingfish know that and recently had the Little League World Championship organization recognize them and their proven teamwork.
The Kaiserslautern Kingfish hosted their season opening meet of the 2013-2014 season Sept. 21 at the Ramstein Aquatic Center.
On Feb. 16 and 17, the Kaiserslautern Kingfish swim team, along with 18 other swim teams, descended on the National Swimming Center of the Netherlands for the 2013 European Forces Swim League Championships.
