It is with deep regret and sorrow the U.S. Air Force announces the death of one of its members, Senior Airman Jayson W. Bethell of the 86th Maintenance Squadron.
1st Lt. Brett Hansen has been appointed as the summary court officer to properly dispose of the property of Airman Bethell. All persons owing money or property to or having a claim against the estate of Airman Bethell should contact Lieutenant Hansen at 480-9371.
435th Medical Group update
In our efforts to continually improve on excellence in outpatient care, the Pediatric Behavioral Medicine Clinic has moved from Kapaun Air Station to Ramstein. The move enables us to consolidate our pediatric and adolescent care services in one convenient central KMC location. The PBM Clinic and Pediatric Clinic share the same waiting room in Bldg. 2114, next to the pharmacy.

Flight medicine Saturday clinic closes, on-call doc continues
The one-hour Saturday morning walk-in clinic for flyers has been discontinued due to low usage. For emergencies (threat to life, limb or eyesight), immediately call 112.
Active-duty members enrolled to flight medicine requiring non-emergency attention for conditions that might impact flight operations are advised to contact the flight surgeon on-call by calling the command post (06371-47-2122).
For all other Ramstein enrollees, please call the Nurse Advice Line at 00800-4759-2330 (toll-free from landline and cell) for urgent healthcare needs when the clinic is closed.
DFAS rep handles retiree pay concerns
A representative from Defense Finance and Accounting System will be visiting installations in Germany to assist retirees and annuitants. The representative will have access to the retired and annuity pay system, allowing for on-the-spot changes. Accordingly, retirees will need to have readily available all pertinent information for any action needing completion.
The representative will be at Ramstein from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Bldg. 2106, Room 115.
Spring cleaning
A base-wide clean up for office buildings and grounds on Ramstein is scheduled for Wednesday. The clean up for housing and dormitories is April 18. Residents are expected to be at their residence to clean their areas.
