Tree lighting kicks off holiday season

Members of the Kaiserslautern Military Community gather to watch a tree lighting ceremony at Ramstein Air Base, Dec. 1. More than 100 people attended the tree lighting, enjoyed hot chocolate and snacks provided by the USO, and kicked off the holiday season in the KMC.
Family members of a deployed U.S. Air Force Airman flip a switch to turn on tree lights at Ramstein Air Base, Dec. 1. The honor of lighting the tree at Ramstein is reserved for family members of a deployed service member and help bring in the holiday season for those apart from loved ones.
