Due to inclimate weather, the Wine Fest was postponed by a week. Alter Markt is once again turning into a paradise for wine, gourmet and music lovers. Live music, wine tasting, atmospheric evening lights and a wide selection of wines from local winemakers in addition to secco cocktails and champagne. There will be a large selection of food, a sundowner party with DJ on Fri evening, and live music on Sat and Sun evenings. Don’t miss out on great summer nights!

The Residenzfest thoughout the city center invites visitors to cozy courtyards, gasthouses and tents with a wide selection of regional specialties and wines. Live music on all event days, shops open on Sunday and fireworks on Monday evening to round off the event.

Climb aboard the rustic horse-drawn covered wagon and experience a unique ride through Otterberg, which combines tradition and modern technology. With your Virtual Reality glasses you will step back into long forgotten time; from the time of the monastery in 1254 up to the city of the Walloons in 1615. Feel the wind in your face, the jerking of the wagon and hear the clip-clop of the horse’s hooves, and feel like you are actually alive in that time period.
