ALLES MUSS RAUS! THEATER/MUSIC/FEST, JULY 15-17, PEDESTRIAN AREA, KAISERSLAUTERN

Germany’s unique street theater festival is going into its next round! The inclusive theater and music festival will present over 200 artists with and without handicaps, dancing, singing and acrobatic performances in about 20 different formations. The participants are from various countries and there will be a colorful program with differing individual events on stages throughout the pedestrian area. Organized by various humanitarian organizations in conjunction with the City of Kaiserslautern and Kultursommer Rheinland-Pfalz, the aim is to promote inclusion.

WINE FESTIVAL, JULY 15-17, VILLAGE CENTER, EINSELTHUM

The tiny village of Einselthum (near Göllheim) with 850 inhabitants is host to a wine festival well-known beyond the region. The individual winemakers open their winery courtyards to offer their guests wine wasting and diverse regional dishes. Parking is free of cost on a farmer’s field outside the village.

SEEFEST OHMBACHSEE, JULy 15-17, OHMBACH LAKE / SCHÖNENBERG-KÜBELBERG

KULTSTADTFEST, JULy 15-17, CITY CENTER/SAARUFER, SAARBRÜCKEN

Visit a colorful cultural festival for the whole family and musical entertainment at various locations throughout the city center. A special children’s program will take place near the Staatstheater/Saar River Bank with Circus Zantac, dancing to summer tunes or practicing baseball with the River Bandits. http://kultstadtfest.saarbruecken.de/

The second Tattoo Convention with live music and catering will take place on the market square near the Congress Center. Get a tattoo while dining and wining and enjoying the groove!

After a two year pause, the large city festival is taking place all around the city center. Food, drink, rides and music stages throughout the area. Don’t miss out on the largest city festival in the area!

DISCOVERY TOUR IN ENGLISH, AUG. 6, 11:15 A.M., CASIMIR SAAL (CITY HALL), KAISERSLAUTERN

The guided tour includes a visit inside the Casimir Saal, located just below the City Hall. It is approximately 1.5 hours and leads through the underground illuminated tunnel with information and sound effects about the history of Kaiserslautern. Tours are also held on Sep 3 and Oct 8. August 2022 will mark the 70th anniversary of Ramstein Air Base’s commissioning. Using carefully selected objects and photographs, the exhibition commemorates seven decades of the Air Base and the impact it has had on its surroundings. https://www.dc-ramstein.de
