This year’s Almond Blossom Festival with delicate pink and rose-colored blossoms not only rings in the beginning of Spring, but also the start of the wine fest season in the Pfalz region. There will be 20 wine booths, both inside and outside of the town within the vineyards. Snacks, arts and crafts and typical regional products will be for sale, activities are planned for children. Visitors are advised to either take a train and use the free shuttles leaving Neustadt train station or park at HELA Zentrum Haardt.

CERAMICS IN “BEST FORM”
APRIL 1-2, 10 A.M.-6 P.M., CITY CENTER, HOMBURG
The 24th Homburg Ceramics Market invites visitors to an entire range of ceramic works. The artisans from Germany, France and Luxembourg will once again present the entire spectrum of ceramics at the market: from useful, contemporary utility ceramics to garden objects to noble and unusual ceramic art. The range of art objects on offer is diverse: jewelry made of various clay materials, ceramic objects, raku and art sculptures, garden tables made of mosaics and much more. A wide variety of items will also be offered as decorations for the upcoming Easter holiday. Food and drinks are also available and while you’re there, check out Sunday shopping in the afternoon or the nearby Flea Market on Saturday.

A commercial fair with local businesses displaying their goods, handcraft and services will take place on Saturday and Sunday at the Congress Center. The outdoor Street Food Festival with a wide variety of food trucks will offer fun for all Friday through Sunday.
