More than 100 service members from Ramstein deployed to Plovdiv for the bilateral NATO exercise to enhance joint readiness while building interoperability capabilities. The airdrop was part of a demonstration that showcased not only personnel drops but also emergency medical evacuation procedures. Approximately 10 jumpmasters from Ramstein and more than 50 Bulgarian air force paratroopers jumped during the formation flight. This flight was one of many that showcased the U.S. and Bulgarian partnership during their two-week deployment to Plovdiv.
