The Virginia Tech Hokies visited Kaiserslautern Wednesday during their 12-day tour of Germany, which is Hokie’s coach Oliver Weiss’ native country. The team played 1. FC Kaiserslautern Amateurs, and lost the game 5-2, falling short of Kaiserslautern’s transition play. About 30 Hokie alumni and fans from the KMC showed up to support the team.
