The following is a list of performances and events happening in the KMC and nearby locations. Dates are subject to change.
City fest
Zweibruecken celebrates its annual city fest starting at 6 p.m. today, 3 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. Bands and DJs present a diversified musical program on nine stages throughout the center of town. A carnival with rides is set up on Goetheplatz. Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern:

Kaiserslautern, Volkspark (duck pond at corner of Entersweiler-/Donnersberger Strasse):
• Outdoor concert with the Gimbsheim Brass Orchestra presenting “Melodies from Around the World,” 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 7. Admission is free. Snacks and beverages are available in bistro. Children’s adventure playground is next to music pavilion.
Kaiserslautern, Bremerhof beergarden, Bremerhof 1:
• The Central Park Band performs songs by Simon & Garfunkel, 7 p.m. Thursday. Admission is free.

• Ramstein’s Summer Nights presents: Italian Night with Luigi Botta and Friends, 8 p.m. today; Jamaican Night with Superjam, 8 p.m. Aug. 5; American Night with the 313th Army Band, 8 p.m. Aug. 12; Brazilian Night with band Mundo Latino performing its Viva Brazil dance show, 8 p.m. Aug. 19; and African Night with Voodoo Beat featuring Djembe Africa, 8 p.m. Aug. 26. Summer night fest at Gartenschau
The Gartenschau Kaiserslautern presents its annual summer night fest starting at 6 p.m. Saturday. Various musicians and bands perform throughout the park. Harald Krueger presents his one-man piano show with boogie-woogie at 7 p.m. on Kaiserberg. Elm F. & the Rocks featuring The French Horns perform songs by James Brown, Stevie Wonder and others at 8 p.m. on the open-air stage. • Kaiserslautern, Gartenschau (dino park), open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, through Oct. 3. Special events: Summer night fest with various bands and light show, 6 p.m. Saturday; Protestant worship service, 11 a.m. Sunday in willow church; the children’s tent opens for games and crafting, 2 to 5 p.m. daily through Aug. 28 in Neumuehlepark; flower show, “Fabulous Fairytale,” open through Aug. 28 in flower hall; and Lego display in exhibition hall open through Oct. 31.
