• Blues dinner with Glan Blues Band performing musical pieces of white blues, rock ‘n’ roll, swing, boogie and southern rock, 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Dinner consists of three courses with various salads, pulled pork, spare ribs, hot wings, mashed potatoes, corn, pumpkin pie and cupcakes. Tickets including the dinner cost €20.

• Japanese pianist Sachiko Furuhata-Kersting presents a concert, 5 p.m. Oct. 18. Tickets cost €12.

• Kaiserslautern Gartenschau, through Oct. 31. “Pumpkin slaughtering,” 1 p.m. Sunday, where visitors can get the meat of giant pumpkins and seeds. Flower show, “Autumn Time,” in flower hall, pumpkin display under the motto “sports” and Lego display through Oct. 31.
