Sunday, stores are open from 1 to 6 p.m. The fest opens with officials tapping the first keg of beer at 6:30 p.m. today followed by Wings of Dixie, a U.S. Air Forces in Europe Band, performing until 8:30 p.m. The bands Teamwork, Copyright, 7ty Proof and Funhouse plays P!nk perform until 11:30 p.m. More bands will perform from 3:30 to 11:30 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday. • “Herzog Blaubarts Burg” and “Der Zwerg,” two operas in German, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 19, 27 and 30.

• “Everyman,” a rock mystery with the progressive metal band Vanden Plas, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25 and Oct. 1.

Fruchthalle, Kaiserslautern:

• Sixty musicians from the Symphonic Orchestra from the Moosalbtal Brass Music present a charity concert, 7 p.m. Saturday. Proceeds go to the German War Graves Commission.

• Concert a la carte: German Radio Philharmonics Saarbruecken Kaisers-lautern present a cello concert with works by Johannes Brahms, Max Bruch and Joseph Haydn, 1 p.m. Thursday. Lunch is served at noon. Tickets cost €21 with lunch and €12 without lunch.

• Charity concert with the Orchestra of the Kaiserslautern County performing works by Jean Sibelius, Aram Khatschaturjan, Paul Hindemith and Robert Schumann, 5 p.m. Sept. 20. Tickets cost €12 to €18. Proceeds are used to beautify the foyer of Fruchthalle.
